Unfortunately, due to the way the hymns have been recorded at various times over a very long period the introductions are rather variable. Some have the full first line and then a chord, some have just the first line, and others have just a chord. Bearing in mind that this can be confusing, later recordings have been made with a full first line and chord introduction. This means that:
Opus 47 - 50, which are digitally remastered older recordings have a single chord
Opus 46 has just the first line
Opus 53, 54, 56, 57, 60, 67 have first line and chord
