To assist ecclesias during the Covid-19 crisis, the CIL have set up a webpage to make our recordings from the Hymn Book available to download for use in on-line services. To access this, please go to:

Complete Hymn Book - MP3 DVD

The complete 2002 edition Hymn Book is now available as a set of MP3 files. This includes the contents of all the Hymns CDs listed on this page (but not the Organ Voluntaries CDs). The MP3 files will be delivered on a DVD-ROM disc which can then be copied onto any MP3 player such as an iPod, an Android phone or tablet or any player with 3GB or more available storage capacity. The files are identified clearly with the relevant hymn number for ease of access when using them to play the hymns during a service. Released April 2013, price £25 + carriage

Opus 69 - Organ Voluntaries

The CDs of hymns listed on this page are often used to support the singing during Sunday services, particularly where there is no organist available. When this is the case, there is also no organist to play an opening and closing voluntary and there have been a number of requests for a CD of organ voluntaries to be produced. In answer to this need, this CD has been recorded by one of the members of the choir. Released September 2012, it contains 19 short closing voluntaries in the form of a single verse of a hymn tune and 12 longer opening voluntaries. We hope that those using the hymns CDs will find this a useful addition to their collection.

Opus 74 - Organ Voluntaries CD2

A second CD of organ voluntaries has been recorded to include a new selection of items to be used to support Sunday Services. Released November 2017, this CD is similar in format to Opus 69 (see above) containing 19 short closing voluntaries and 12 longer opening voluntaries. This will be a welcome addition particularly to those who have been using the original organ voluntaries CD for some time.

Opus 47, 48, 49 and 50

Released in 2003, these CDs form a collection of hymns originally recorded by the choir from the 1964 hymn book, now digitally remastered and re-released on CD.

Each of these are double CD sets containing in total over 250 of the older hymns which were included in the 2002 hymn book.
